Japanese Sushi Nori 10 Sheets - High Quality - Roasted - 30 g

Authentic High Quality Japanese Sushi Nori. Most nori imported into Europe and UK is from China and Korea and this is different!!!

Use straight from the pack to make sushi rolls, Sushi wraps, Onigiri and others.

1. Sushi Roll: Place one sheet on to a sushi rolling mat.  Spread cooked rice and place whatever you want to put inside.  Wrap the sushi rolling mat to make a circular cylinder shaped sushi.  
   
2. Sushi Wrap: Cut one sheet into two rectangle shaped sheets. Use one sheet and put cooked rice and then place whatever you want to put inside.  And role the sheet to make a circular cone.
   
3. Onigiri (rice ball): Cut one sheet into three rectangle shaped sheets. Make a rice ball. Pour soy sauce onto a flat small plate. Take one sheet and soak one side of it on to the soy sauce for a second and stick it on to the rice ball.  If short of soy sauce, without it also works.  Putting tuna mixed with mayonnaise inside Onigiri (tuna with mayo onigiri) is popular in Japan.
   
4. Other ways: Nori is also great as a topping on salad, pizza, pasta and in soup to add extra umami and flavour.  There are many other ways to enjoy Nori, for example, as a snacks to go with beer.  Nori goes well with cheese, mayonnaise, wasabi, horseradish, soy sauce and fermented foods. 

Once opened, please keep sealed and consume soon as nori tends to become soggy soon.  It might be a good idea to finish the left over sheets by using as a topping for salad, pasta, snack and others.

Please use Japanese rice or rather sticky round grain rice for Japanese food, not long grain rice.
